McKinney Direct Care Services Day Habilitation program emphasizes the importance of developing our clients to be independent and functional within their communities.  Our program is focused on personal and intellectual development and socialization skills. Activities are tailored to align with each individual’s capacity and focus on their strength and talent.  

 

MDCS Day Habilitation is offered in a non-residential setting, separate from the home or facility in which the individual resides. Our clients attend Day Habilitation weekly (Monday through Friday), for eight hours. Snacks and lunch are served. MDCS Day Habilitation Program frequently sponsors social events and field trips to enable our clients to interact with their community and improve their social skills.
